Safety List

A safety list is just that a list of names and phone numbers of people who are safe to you are your system.

The reason to have a safety list ?

The idea of a safety list is that in times of crisis or panic your system will have people they can call and talk to.  The idea of this is that person will help them get grounded.  It is strongly recommend that you make that you make several copies of  your safety list and place them by each phone in the house so they can be found when needed.  It is important to let the people on your list know that you consider them safe and that at times an alter may be calling them.  It is extremely important that all the people on your list be safe to all the alters as well as you.

How to make a safe list ?

It is recommend that the host make a list of people whom S/He considers safe, and let the alters have a vote to whom is on the list.  The next step is to do is practice making calls when you are not in a crisis.  The idea behind this is to get the alters use to using the phone and talking to people.  It is vital that all alter know how to properly dial the phone.

What can be with co-conscious ?

The host can hold a class in a class room setting and give and lesson on how to use the phone.

What can be if not co- conscious ?

Leave a detailed instruction on how to dial the phone in their notebooks and ask them to leave you a note saying they understand.  Remember to keep a safety list where it can be found since a safety list that can't be found is of no value to anyone.
